Roadside Assistance & Recovery

We have a dedicated team of highly trained technicians with many years experience of roadside breakdowns and recoveries, ready and available, around the clock to assist any driver with a breakdown or any problem relating to their vehicle, either through mechanical failure or collision. We are a family owned business and have operated a vehicle breakdown and recovery service for over forty years. We are also an Independent service provider for Green Flag motoring assistance.

Our team of knowledgeable experts will wherever possible diagnose and rectify the fault at the roadside in order to get you going. Due to the nature of the problem, if this is not possible, we will discuss with you one of the options available, either recover you your passengers and vehicle back to our secure premises where arrangements can be made either for the vehicle to be repaired at the earliest available opportunity and for local accommodation, or for the transportation of the vehicle and all passengers to their final destination.

We operate a fleet of modern recovery vehicles, with spectacle lift (front wheels raised) or tilt and slide flat bed recovery, where the vehicle is either driven, or winched onto the rear deck.

We also have the capability to recover collision damaged vehicles from the scene, whereby it is necessary to use a Hi-ab crane to lift the vehicle directly off the roadway onto the rear of one of our fleet of flat bed recovery vehicles. The vehicle is then removed to our secure compound for inspection by one of the many Insurance Companies who use our expert services. Any passengers from the vehicles are accommodated in our secure and comfortable crew cabs.

Wrights Garage has been involved in recovering broken down and collision damaged vehicles for over forty years. All of our vehicle recovery operators are well trained, and highly motivated with many years experience. We have yet to come across any circumstances which we have been unable to deal with to the satisfaction of our customers.
